WHERE IS HEALING TOUCH USED?
Healing Touch is used in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, long term care facilities, private practices, hospices, and spas. Janet Mentgen, RN, founded Healing Touch in 1989 as a continuing education program for nurses, other health care professionals, and lay persons. Today Healing Touch has spread internationally and is taught in universities, medical and nursing schools, and other settings internationally.
Who are Certified Healing Touch Practitioners? CHTP’s complete a rigorous training and certification program and abide by a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Look for the CHTP credential to assure highest standards.
Healing Touch Program is excited to announce approval for endorsement by American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA). The contract has been mailed by AHNA and upon signature, HTP will add the following sentence to our marketing material. “Healing Touch Program” has been reviewed and is endorsed by the American Holistic Nursing Association (AHNA).” We are proud to be one of approximately 10 programs endorsed by AHNA.
